EDF Renewables signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) to support Taiwan new phase of offshore wind technology development

Taipei, November 2, 2023 — EDF Renewables, with over a decade of experience in offshore wind farm development and a global installed net capacity of 11.4GW, announced today the signing of an industry-academia collaboration memorandum of understanding (MoU) with National Cheng Kung University. Through technical cooperation and academic exchange, they hope to accelerate the development of floating wind power technology in Taiwan.

The Huanyang Offshore Wind Project Is Renamed to the Wei Lan Hai Changhua Offshore Wind Project

Taipei, October 23, 2023 News – The offshore wind power project developed jointly by EDF Renewables from France (holding 80.1%) and Taiya Renewable (holding 19.9%) announced that it will be renamed as the “Azure Sea Changhua Offshore Wind Power Project”. “Azure Sea” represents the most representative charming spot on the southern Mediterranean coast of France – Azure Coast; in addition to symbolizing offshore wind power with waves and turbines, the new project logo also incorporates the well-known local landmark – Changhua Fangyuan Lighthouse, highlighting the close connection between the project and the local community.

台北,2023年8月30日訊 — 法國電力再生能源 (EDF Renewables)於本日完成環洋離岸風力發電計畫行政契約簽署程序。 該風場於2022年12月獲區塊開發第一期2027年完工併聯、獲配容量440MW專案開發權。該風場為法國電力再生能源在台灣第一個離岸風電專案,完成行政契約簽署代表法國電力再生能源將持續在亞太地區深耕,支持台灣能源轉型。
